Project 52, Week 8 | Hawaii Family and Child Photography, Oahu Portraits

Week EIGHT! The girls got their hair trimmed this past weekend and I couldn’t help but snap a few shots after we were done. I also had a ClickinMoms breakout to study, Embracing Childhood by Winnie Bruce. I’ve already given her a review but all I can say was I’ve always wondered how she captured such captivating and authentic moments with her portrait work and it was awesome to be able to read how she does it and what works for her. About 99% of the images from this week are taken with Winnie’s introspection in mind. So much info at such a great price–highly recommend purchasing it if you want to step your game up with childhood portraits ;).

Anyway, I took the kids to Hickam Beach for some fun in the not-so-warm sun, haha. It has been pretty windy here lately and that makes for some amazing cool breeze so I’m not complaining! The kids had a great time creating silly things with the sand, sifting rocks, and running from the waves.

Thanks for checking in with me every week, be sure to visit Lydia and see what she has been up to.
