Project 52, Week 16 – Oahu Family Photographer | Honolulu, Hawaii Photographer

We explored a new location this past week! The kids and I drove up to the Waianae Coast and stopped at Nanakuli to check out the area with our friend Kat and her daughter. Lucky for us it was low-tide. I love going to areas when the tide is low because there’s more surface area for us to walk on. The sand is unbelievably soft here and the mountains provided an amazing backdrop for a relaxing beach day.

I am pretty sure the surf can get a bit crazy around here and with the tide being out, I could see the drop from shore to ocean….it’s really steep! We had a great time exploring the left and right areas–the kids loved walking around all the rocksĀ and scoping them out for crabs and snails.

We ended our evening watching a beautiful sunset, rinsed our feet off, and headed back home. I love fulfilling evenings!

Thanks for catching up with me, please don’t forget to check out Lydia’s Blog and see how her week went.

Lydia Stuemke - love these! I love the last ones of the kids by the ocean and how it emphasizes their smallness next to the ocean. Beautiful shots, as usual!ReplyCancel
